A Victorian paste seal mimicking citrine set in 18ct yellow gold finished with a pink sapphire, prong set Enabailer. A glorious octagonal shape. And a deeply puzzling rebus message.
We see 4 characters. I2BU. The letter I is twice the height of the other characters. So what the Chistopher Biggins does it all mean?
Well. The denouement is ‘I long to be next to you’. We shall leave it to you to work that one backwards should you need to!
Kudos to the BHE who figured it out after Emma had been sat around scratching her clueless bonce for a year!
Why we love it
The longing. Oh the longing. Oh to be longed for.
The rebus that took over a year to unencrypt (maybe Emma is just a bit of a dolt?), but we think it’s a tough one to unpick. And we can only imagine that there was very good reason for this. The need for the upmost secrecy and discretion. A forbidden love.
Gah my loins are twitching again. Oh the longing……
Also the geometric octagonal is epic too.
But really, the longing……
