Hearts Over The World

An exceptionally rare Victorian seal with a profound message as relevant now as ever it was; these will always be Emma’s faves.

The seal is actually a mid-yellow colour but is exceptionally hard to capture in the photographs.

We felt such a powerful statement needed the VIP treatment and so we have the seal in 18ct yellow gold with a blaze of hot pink sapphires as the bezel. It’s all about the importance of loving afterall! The piece is finished with our bestselling middy enabailer.

Why we love it

Cor Supra Mundum. This.

The Latin motto translates as Hearts Above The World. We could not love it more.

A couple of interpretations are possible. Both Epic. But first the imagery. We see simply a pair of (the cutest chubby butted) twinned hearts flying above the globe. The Latin motto over-arching and framing the two symbols.

The first and most accessible meaning is representative of that feeling we feel when we have found our soulmate, our other, our twin flame. How we soar, so high amongst the clouds. Walking on air, head in the clouds, flying high, all of those beautiful feels that are all at once happy and empowering.

The other interpretation, which Emma prefers because she’s an incurable over-thinker, is a more profound message about the power and importance of loving. If we love we can conquer the world. If we love the world is a better place. How love should come first. How everybody needs and deserves love. And how, if only we would all give more love (and for that read kindness, compassion and generosity) the world, our world, would be so much the better.

Put love first. The rest will surely follow.

Flown away home.
