Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep
A simple but beautifully hewn dove features on this Victorian citrine intaglio. The stone itself is particularly fabulous having been hand-cut with complex faceting to the back of and around the edges of the stone.
Stones this good need no bells or whistles so we have set this as our classic pendant in recycled 18ct yellow gold and just added a final flourish of pizzazz by adding our classic prong white diamond enabailer.

The message is one of peace as the bird is the dove of peace holding an olive twig in its beak.
Reminding us that after the storms pass the sun will eventually pop out and life will continue afresh.
We think we would all welcome such an upbeat talisman to keep us in a positive frame of mind.
The citrine is expertly carved and splendiforous both in terms of the intaglio carving and the facet work to the gem itself.
