An 1885 Victorian era British sixpence love token engraved ‘Chief’ incorporating the original crown and oak wreath from the coin into the design.
The other side depicts the young uncrowned ‘Young Head’ of Queen Victoria and lettering ‘VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITT: REGINA F:D’ which translates as ‘Victoria by the Grace of God Queen of Britain Defender of the Faith’.
