The image of an envelope/letter with Latin text ‘Crede’ meaning ‘Believe’. Urging the recipient to believe the content of the letter.

Oval, east/west orientation.
10.5 x 9 x 2 mm.
Excellent antique condition, noting there are remnants of a carnelian paste to the reverse, these would be removed by a professional clean if sent for setting in silver.
