Ouroboros Pendant
Why we love it
The ancient ouroboros symbol is one of a snake or serpent eating its own tail. Symbolic of eternal life / love, it was popularised by Prince Albert, who gave his beloved Queen Vic a ring in the ouroboros style for their betrothal.
And if all is to be believed, their marriage bucked the trend of royal partnerships and was believed to be a true love match (perhaps best not to mention a certain rough hewn Scottish servant, although he was said to have ‘comforted’ the queen only after Albert’s death – a woman has needs afterall!)
