We Live In Hope Intaglio
An antique hand carved bloodstone intaglio imagery of a rampant Griffin holding a laurel wreath and French text ‘Nous demeure en esperance’ (we live in hope) with a belt.
The belt encircles gothic initials which we cannot decipher!

The carving is super detailed and crisp and the intaglio is in wonderful condition.
