We Are Family
An antique paste mimicking turquoise featuring imagery of an heraldic crest with supporters of a couple on one side and a woman with two children on the other
The crest has a hand in heart above with the Eye of Providence overseeing all
Why we love it
The all-seeing eye (otherwise know as the Eye of Providence) has been used for centuries to represent divine providence whereby the eye of God watches over humanity. It is a popular symbol in both religious and secular society, perhaps most recognisable from the U.S. $1 dollar bill
The Heart in Hand is depicted as a heart in an open palm, and is symbolic of charity, given from the heart. It is an easily recognizable symbol in the Northeastern United States, used by the Shakers as a pictorial reminder of the words of Mother Ann Lee, the founder of the Shaker sect, who promoted a simple life of hard work and spirituality, “Put your hands to work, and your hearts to God.”
Make it sing
