Tally Ho!
This is a Victorian era clear paste seal which we have transformed into an iridescent wonder by using an antique Mother of Pearl gaming chip to form a present and sturdy doublet.
Featuring imagery of a real scamp, fantastic Mr Fox and the text ‘Tallio’ which is an earlier iteration of Tally Ho!
Why we love it
Tally Ho is a hunting cry, made upon first sighting of the quarry. A way that the horsemen roused each other and the hounds into a frenzy of activity.
It seems most likely that the etymology of Tally Ho is from the 13th century French battle-cry ‘Taille Haut’ which means ‘Swords Up’ pretty much.
If one frequents a particular genre of venue in the UK. Being one patronised by the alleged upper echelons; think Randy Andy in Tramps here folks, one might still witness some idiot toff nudge a jolly good chum and utter ‘Tally Ho’ upon sighting of an attractive ‘filly’.
Which isn’t actually funny. Or harmless. Jesus wept.
So turn it right on its head and wear this pendant to ironically identify yourself as the fox.
The foxiest. Amen.
