Take Me As I Am Intaglio

A splendid Georgian era bloodstone intaglio, hand carved and unique

Featuring the epic French phrase ‘Prend Moi Tel Que Je Suis’ meaning ‘Take Me As I Am’

Why we love it

This stunning heraldic intaglio features a dexter arm in armor, couped at the elbow, brandishing a scimitar, a curved sword emerging from a crown. All together it symbolizes defense, noble status and protection.

The Motto appears within a belt, often seen on heraldics the belt symbolises the family bond, the keeper of familial confidences and generally ‘holding it all together’

The stone is a beautiful bloodstone, deepest darkest green (showing as near black) with an abundance of the beautiful red flecks that are synonymous with a good bloodstone

But what Emma really especially loves about this intaglio is the motto, being the French ‘Prends Moi Tel Que Je Suis’ translating to ‘Take Me As I Am’. Amen

The motto is a bold statement of individuality, self respect and acceptance, implying that the wearer refuses to change their character or personality f0r another. Again, Amen

The perfect talisman for being your weird authentic self, knowing that you are exactly precisely enough just as you are and standing in your own damned power. Thrice Emma exclaims: AMEN!
