This heraldic intaglio seal features a spread eagle on the shield and a leopard rampant guardant to the crest
The Heraldic banner is engraved with the French phrase ‘Tache Sans Tache’ meaning ‘Spotless’ or ‘Pristine’; the literal translation being ‘A Stain without a Stain’.
The motto Tache Sans Tache is associated with clans Carnegie and Watson, the leopard crest suggests that this intaglio is the heraldic arms of Carnegie/Carnegy
