Goodnight Wax Seal
An antique, clear paste Tassie seal to mimic rock crystal. Featuring imagery of a lit candle about to be extinguished by a hand holding a snuffer, hovering over the flame and the over arching French motto ‘Bon Soir’ meaning ‘Goodnight’
Why we love it
The symbolism of a light imminently to be extinguished is pretty powerful and needs little expansion
It may literally read Goodnight but it metaphorically reads Goodbye
Undoubtedly a bittersweet motif about loss and the perfect way to carry a loved one with you, forever and always
