Antique 14ct Gold, Enamel, Seed Pearl & Diamond Pansy Ring
An antique American Art Nouveau enamel pansy ring bordered with seed pearls and centred with a diamond.
Crafted in rich 14ct yellow gold.
Why we love it
The pansy petals graduate in colour from deep purple, to violet to white, with naturalistic accents of white and yellow.
In the Victorian era, the pansy symbolised ‘thought’, derived from the French word ‘pensée’. Used to convey a message of ‘I am thinking of you’, particularly for themes of love, such as thinking of a loved one, remembering absent friends, or even forbidden or passionate love.
