I Love Intaglio
A sizeable terracotta coloured hard stone featuring incredibly detailed imagery of a prancing stag on top of a crest containing initials, possibly EJS.
A banner at the bottom of the crest holds the Latin text ‘amo’ (I love)
Why we love it
Check this stag out, all prancing, puffed up chest and horns. This seal reeks of masculine pride and energy. Added to the motto ‘I love’, we can’t but feel the person Mr EJS loves most is himself.
And why not? If you’ve got it, flaunt it!
We’re constantly bombarded with images of the ‘body beautiful’. On a daily basis we’re subjected to unsolicited advice on what to wear, how to act, where to go.
We worry we’re not smart enough, or funny enough, or rich enough. That we’re too loud, too big, too short. Never enough or just too much.
How about we ditch the worry. Instead let’s make like this guy, puff out our chests and declare our love. For ourselves. Emphatically and unapologetically.
